We’re happy to share that Stella Grell has stepped into the role of Country Manager for VetFamily in Brazil. Stella takes over from Henry Berger, who has been a driving force in developing VetFamily Brazil over the past few years. Henry is now moving on to a new role outside the company, and we wish him all the best in this next chapter. We’re thankful for his energy, commitment, and the strong foundation he helped build.

Now, Stella is here to take the next steps forward – and we’re in great hands.

Stella is a veterinarian with over 20 years of experience in the animal health industry. Her background spans senior roles in marketing, sales, and operations — both nationally and internationally — combined with hands-on experience in small animal practice. That mix gives her a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that independent clinics face today.

As Country Manager, Stella will focus on expanding VetFamily’s local offering in Brazil, strengthening relationships with member clinics, and ensuring our services continue to create real value where it matters most — in day-to-day veterinary work.

We’re happy to welcome Stella into our global team of Country Managers,” says Ali Tajbakhsh, CEO of VetFamily. “She brings not only deep veterinary and commercial experience, but also a strong connection to the everyday needs of independent clinics. Brazil is a key market for us, and under Stella’s leadership, we’re confident we’ll continue to grow our value for both members and partners.”

Stella is equally committed to the partner side of our work. She’ll be working closely with suppliers to make sure VetFamily’s initiatives support market development as a whole — with benefits for clinics, partners, and pet owners alike.

I’m excited to take on this new challenge and continue building on the strong foundation we have in Brazil,” says Stella. “My focus will be on listening closely to clinics and partners, and delivering support that makes a real difference in their everyday work. It’s great to be part of a team that truly believes in the future of independent veterinary care.”

This transition reflects our long-term commitment to Brazil as a key market within VetFamily’s global network. With Stella leading the way, we’re looking forward to the next phase of growth, collaboration, and community.
