We are happy to announce that Brigitte Op den Kamp has officially joined VetFamily as the new Country Manager for the Benelux region as of October 1st. With over 30 years of experience in the veterinary industry, Brigitte brings a wealth of expertise and a strong passion for supporting independent veterinary clinics in their growth and success.

Brigitte joins us from Zoetis, where she developed and nurtured strategic partnerships, including a long-standing relationship with VetFamily. Reflecting on her decision to join, she shared, "The culture of VetFamily, built on positivity and a deep respect for its members, was key in my decision. I’ve always admired how VetFamily fosters a sense of belonging while offering clinics the freedom to maintain their unique identities."

As Brigitte steps into her new role, her focus will be on leveraging her industry expertise to strengthen VetFamily's position in the Benelux market. "VetFamily is the most trusted and reliable partner for independent clinics in Companion Animals, Equine, and Ruminants. I aim to enhance this position by fostering global cooperation and finding synergies with suppliers active across multiple markets," she explained.

One of Brigitte’s key goals is to ensure independent clinics feel empowered as part of the VetFamily community. "Independent clinics will always keep their own identity, but by joining VetFamily, they should feel confident about their future and their own plans," she emphasized.

Outside of work, Brigitte enjoys cycling, walking, and spending time with her two daughters. She and her husband also share a passion for breeding sport ponies. As they settle into their new home in the southern Netherlands, Brigitte looks forward to continuing her journey with VetFamily, supporting the veterinary community across the Benelux region.

Our previous Country Manager Ivo Dubbers will now focus on expanding VetFamily into new countries, ensuring even more independent clinics benefit from our support and services.
