Welcome Benoît Savaëte as Country Manager for VetFamily France

We’re happy to announce that Benoît Savaëte has taken on the role of Country Manager for VetFamily France. Benoît brings a rare mix of veterinary know-how, business experience, and deep understanding of our French clinic community — making him the perfect person to lead the next chapter of our journey in France.

Benoît joined VetFamily six years ago as a partner manager and has since helped shape our local offering in many ways, most recently as Head of Solutions. Over the years, he’s supported clinic teams, led consulting work, and managed one of our regional GIEs — always with a clear goal: to make life a little easier for independent vets.

Now stepping into the Country Manager role, Benoît is focused on three key areas: supporting the team, growing our services, and helping clarify our unique role in the veterinary ecosystem. “We’re still young as an organization in France, and we have so much potential,” he says. “There’s room to keep evolving — to stay one step ahead and offer services that really meet the needs of independent clinics today.”

Benoît’s own career started in the field — as an equine vet. “After a few years in practice, I realized that to really improve things for our team and clients, I needed to focus more on the business,” he shares. “That’s what brought me to management, and eventually to VetFamily. If VetFamily had existed back then, I would’ve wanted to be the first member!”

Outside work, Benoît lives by the sea — quite literally — aboard his boat. “It gives me perspective and keeps me energized,” he says. “It’s my way of staying motivated and finding new ideas.”
