Valued gathering of the community in Norway
Over 150 people got together at Gardermoen outside of Oslo in Norway in September for the yearly Norwegian VetFamily member meeting. Member clinics, partner suppliers and speakers all gave the event the thumbs up.
Presentations and workshops generated high engagement and discussions. The main topics at the meeting were:
- Efficient operation of the clinic
- Input to selecting journal system
- Mental health, professional culture, and self-care
- Job commitment and resources
For the second day the participants were split up in two groups – Clinic managers and Vets/Nurses. The clinic managers had a focus on how to create a truly efficient business. The sessions were led by Magnus Lord who have spent 25 years helping leaders in the healthcare industry to create continuous improvements. The vets and nurses enjoyed specialist courses in dentistry and dermatology, as well as a hands-on communications training.
This is the best gathering in VetFamily so far, great program, good to meet colleagues and suppliers and not least a nice dinner!
