Member clinics in Sweden take the opportunity to meet and share
VetFamily in Sweden recently organized their annual Members' Day, an event that has been on hold during the pandemic. It was clear that there had been a desire to meet to share experiences, or simply to just catch up and feel the comfort of belonging to a community as roughly 100 participants joined the meeting.
This year all professions at clinics were invited to join the meeting instead of only clinic managers, this because there is a need for nurses, veterinarians, assistants and managers to meet and share challenges and solutions with each other. The objective of the Members’ Day is to create a forum for independent clinics to network, but also to broaden that network with the industry suppliers that support independent vet clinics.
Every year there is a focus on leadership and development at the Members’ Day, this year there also was a specific focus on the elderly patient. All participants shared the same program of lectures in the morning, during the afternoon clinic managers had a separate program. Between lectures and workshops everyone had the opportunity to mingle with almost 20 different partner suppliers and learn more about their products and services.
